The Waukee Youth Football Board is excited to offer donation and sponsorship opportunities to individuals and businesses to help support our growing program.

Waukee Youth Football (WYF) is a 100% volunteer ran 501c3 non-profit organization. We offer children opportunities to participate in Flag, Padded Flag (Flag football with helmets and shoulder pads) and Tackle Football. We are a proud NFL Flag Football league (www.nflflag.com) and all coaches are USA Football certified (www.usafootball.com) to teach Heads-Up Blocking, Tackling and flag pulling techniques. Waukee Youth Football is the only program in Waukee and the largest youth football organization in Iowa!

Our mission is to use the game of football to cultivate a safe, fun, inclusive atmosphere for all participants; focusing on the mastery of age-appropriate fundamentals that culminate in friendships, life lessons and a love of the game for each participant.

Waukee is one of the fastest growing cities in Iowa. The Iowa State Data Center at the State Library confirms that since 2010, Waukee has experienced 74% percent population growth. This growth has led to the addition of numerous elementary schools and the construction of a new high school. Waukee Youth Football’s participation numbers has also grown with the community. The programs growth has created a need for:

  • Team Equipment: Dummies, Shields, Cones, Footballs, Flags, etc. 
  • WSD Field Rental Fees
  • Referees
  • Player Participation Grants
  • Kevin Slaybaugh Memorial Scholarship Fund
