Covid-19 Information Resources

At Waukee Youth Football, there is no higher priority than the safety and health of our players and families. As Coaches and Board Members, we continue to actively monitor Covid-19 information and leverage recommendations from Doctors, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, State and Local health professionals.

Many of the resources, information and recomendations being utilized by the WYF Board are available for review below.

Additionally, before Coaches or Players are able to participate in Waukee Youth Football activities, they must review and acknowledge the WYF Covid-19 Waiver.

Mid-Iowa Youth Football will adhere to the below USA Football Guidance. This is a team effort. No player will "fall behind" if they miss a football activity!

In the case of a known COVID-19 exposure/illness/positive test, immediately notify everyone across your league (without identifying the affected individual) and contact your local public health authorities to allow them to begin the process of contact tracing and other possible actions/steps.

Individuals who have had close contact to someone who tests positive should self-isolate for at least 14 days.

Individuals who test positive for COVID-19 infection should self-isolate and avoid sports participation for a variable duration of time. Prior to returning to football, obtain a note from their health care provider releasing them to full participation.
